Veridiam Medical Completes Acquisition of Advanced EDM
Automation; Expanding Custom Manufacturing Solutions
for the Medical OEM Industry

Veridiam Medical announced today that it has completed the acquisition of ADVANCED EDM AUTOMATION, Inc. of Poway, California. ADVANCED EDM AUTOMATION, a provider of precision metal fabrication and electrical discharge machining (EDM) capabilities, is a perfect complement to Veridiam Medical's strategic integrated manufacturing initiative.

The move unites two of the industry's most innovative and technologically advanced providers offering precision engineered highly specialized metal fabrication capabilities to the medical device industry. "Medical device companies continue to push the limits of materials and manufacturing technologies in order to minimize invasive procedures, improve the standard of care and meet the demands of an increasingly informed patient," said Neal Nordstrom, Chief Executive Officer of Veridiam Medical.
