Veridiam Medical Completes Acquisition of
Point Technologies; Expanding Custom Manufacturing
Solutions for the Medical OEM Industry

San Diego, CA; September 2007 - VERIDIAM MEDICAL, a leading provider of assemblies, machined parts and metal tubular components specifically engineered to meet the demanding requirements of medical device manufacturers, announced today that it has completed the acquisition of POINT TECHNOLOGIES of La Aurora de Heredia, Costa Rica. Point Technologies, a full service contract manufacturer serving the medical device, biotech and semiconductor wafer test industries, is a valuable addition to VERIDIAM MEDICAL's strategic integrated manufacturing initiative.

The move complements VERIDIAM MEDICAL's current capabilities and will add capacity to become a cost effective solution for Medical OEM's seeking advanced machining capabilities and competitive pricing in a country recognized for its strong intellectual property laws. "Point Technologies will play a key role in helping serve our growing customer base while maintaining the high quality standards and reliability our customers expect" said Neal Nordstrom, President & Chief Executive Officer of VERIDIAM MEDICAL.

VERIDIAM MEDICAL is aggressively moving to implement operations, infrastructure and customer care improvements at POINT TECHNOLOGIES, with the aim of providing immediate value for their customers.
