BWR Fuel Channels

Veridiam has manufactured more than 65,000 Zircaloy fuel channels for use in commercial nuclear boiling water reactors as both original equipment and replacement parts. Nuclear utilities and fuel suppliers in more than 15 countries have used our fuel channels. Veridiam manufactured BWR fuel channels are custom fabricated to each customer's unique engineering specifications using patented fabrication processes.

BWR and PWR Control Rod Tubing

Veridiam has manufactured more than 1 million stainless steel boron carbide B₄C or "poison" tubes for use in BWR and PWR control rod blade applications.

Fast (Breeder) Reactor Components

Veridiam has supplied a wide variety of core components that have been used in breeder reactors in seven countries. Major breeder reactor components have included more than 250,000 fuel and more than 15,000 control rod cladding tubes. Veridiam also has manufactured hexagonal fuel and control rod tubes, control rod shrouds, plenum tubes, electromagnetic pump housing, and radial blanket tubes, as well as complete control rod assemblies for breeder reactors.

Heavy Water Reactor Calandria Tubes

Veridiam has supplied over 3,500 Zircaloy Calandria tubes for use in heavy water reactors in six countries.

Veridiam also has supplied a variety of other unique
reactor core small diameter tubes including:
